Kamaz says improves 2023 plan to raise output to 50,000 trucks

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Russian truck producer Kamaz has improved its 2023 production plan to over 50,000 vehicles from about 44,000, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The Kama Automobile Plant (Kamaz) plans to raise production from more than 44,000 cars in 2022 to more than 50,000 this year," the statement read.

CEO Sergei Kogogin said at the end of December that in accordance with the 2023 business plan, national and export sales would total about 40,000 trucks, while with the federal procurements the figure might reach 44,000, remaining flat on 2022.
